There are dozens of  outstanding anti circumcision web sites which well expose the circumcision fraud. While it is difficult to list all the web sites, you will find many other web sites by visiting web sites listed here. These also contain links to other excellent web sites. It is also true that there are a few pro circumcision web sites - small in number - who try to revive or perpetuate the circumcision hoax.

We have contacted most of these sites and have presented questions presented in the first part of this web site requesting proof that male circumcision is an ethical medical practice - as well as proof that there are unquestionable medical benefits. We have yet to receive one response to our queries. If male circumcision on non consenting individuals was either ethical , then certainly they should be able to justify their positions. However, as you take time and go through the many web sites listed here and via links on other web sites, you will readily see that it is impossible to justify male circumcision either in terms of human rights or medical benefits. The only justification which most advocates of male circumcision can give that it is a parent's prerogative - but how they are able to do this  legally has yet to be addressed.

We have given the challenge to you to prove that  circumcision is an ethical  or a  legitimate medical practice.  If you are an open minded individual, we are sure that you will certainly study the information provided on various anti circumcision web sites. Please let us know of your conclusions and reasons for them.

• Antiseptics Unable to Sterilize Foreskin May Lead to Sepsis During Circumcision (12/2003) Despite painting with povidone-iodine and/or local cleaning with surgical soap, it is not possible totally to eradicate the micro-organisms in the prepuce.  Thus implies that povidone-iodine is not effective in preventing sepsis from circumcision. • British study shows no benefit from circumcision for sexually transmitted diseases (12/22/03) A British study of 11,161 men reports that circumcised men were slightly more likely to become infected with STD's than intact men. The study also reported that circumcised men were 50% more likely to have reported having had homosexual partners than the intact men. (read article)
• Five South African Penis Amputations after Botched Circumcisions (12/19/03) Five youths have had their penises amputated after botched circumcisions in the Eastern Cape (South Africa) since the beginning of November, the provincial health department said on Friday. (read more)
• ‘Female Arousal Disorder’ Blamed on Circumcised Penises (12/16/03) A New Zealand study found that reduced female arousal and orgasms may be linked to having sex with circumcised male partners. (read more)
• National Council for Children Calls for Ban on Male Circumcision (12/4/03) The Danish National Council for Children has called on lawmakers to make male circumcision illegal. While media reports of female circumcision in Denmark have caused a public outcry and prompted lawmakers to amend existing legislation, this unacceptable practice is still a lot less common than the circumcision of boys, the chairman of the council told Danish media this morning. • Masturbatory Fear Censors "Doonesbury" Cartoon Strip (9/08/03) The Victorian fear of masturbation as evil or unhealthy censored the Doonesbuy cartoon strip last Friday that dealt with a recent study saying men who masturbated more had lower prostate cancer. Rather than seeing this as a public service announcement, some newspapers refused to print the strip. Fear of masturbation was a motivating force behind the routine circumcision of male infants at the turn of the 20th century. Cartoonist Garry Trudeau illuminated that fear with his cartoon. • Wrongful Circumcision Lawsuit Filed (6/26/03) Fayette County, GA –William Haynes, Jr.’s, parents claim they did not receive sufficient information about the risks of the surgery prior to his circumcision. Haynes, now 19 years old, is suing the doctor who circumcised him and the hospital where he was circumcised, claiming he was sexually maimed.
• Medical Article Says Circumcision Is an Acceptable HIV Strategy, but Makes No Mention of it Being a Human Rights Violation. The article has received critical and negative responses.

Surgeons and pediatricians are speaking out against mass circumcisions, called Operation Tule, in the Philippines. Several medical institutions have stopped conducting Operation Tule such as the Ospital ng Maynila, the first hospital to do so; the Perinatal Center of the Philippines Children’s Medical Center; Philippine General Hospital; and the Zamboanga Medical Center. “I want to save millions and generations of Filipino children from unnecessary circumcision; its pain and its risk of complications including death,” said Dr. Joson in an interview posted on his website.

• Activists March in DC and Demonstrate Against ACOG Genital Integrity Awareness Week included marches on the Capitol and a day-long demonstration at the national offices of the American College of Obstetrician and Gynecologists. OB's perform nearly half of US circumcisions.
• New African HIV Transmission Findings Unsafe healthcare "drives spread of African HIV" according to Royal Society of Medicine refuting the previously held theory that heterosexual sex spread the virus. Researchers found no benefit to male circumcision. There is mounting concern that circumcised men, believing the are safe from contracting HIV, will engage in unsafe sexual practices with a resulting increase in HIV transmission, mostly to women.
• Students for Genital Integrity The newest member organization to join ICGI is new itself. SGI, based on campus chapters, was formed last year and continues to add chapters around the United States. Started at San Francisco State University by student Greg Dervin, it has chapters at Florida State University, University of Iowa, The George Washington University,  and Arizona State University.
• Circumcision Results in Sexual Losses Decreased penile sensitivity and increased erectile dysfunction were the most frequent complaints reported by men who were circumcised as adults. The piece on your website entitled Infant Circumcision: The Perfect Crime is tremendously powerful. It is difficult to imagine what emotions will erupt in a circumciser's brain when he reads this. In all probability, he will have no emotional reaction at all. Like most rapists, serial killers, and other criminally deranged people, most serial circumcisers probably commit their crimes in cold blood. The surge they get from committing these atrocities is not emotional but chemical.

The very act of shredding and mutilating a baby's penis with knives, clamps, electrocautery guns, or fingernails affects the serial circumciser's brain chemistry like a drug. The craving for this neurological stimulus is an addiction as real and as irresistible as an addiction to heroin. Carving, crushing, burning, and slicing a baby's penis, reducing it to gore, getting his hands covered with penis blood, and filling his ears with shrieks and screams of agony and terror are the potent drug cocktail the serial circumciser needs to make himself feel alive.

Criminologists and forensic scientists have long known that there is no treatment or cure for sado-sexual compulsions. Only death will bring peace to the criminally insane serial circumciser. Jeffrey Dahmer found peace after a frightened fellow prisoner smashed his head to a bloody pulp against a filthy prison toilet. If this was the fate providence meted out to a man who murdered young men and then fed off their corpses, what fate awaits the monsters who torture, cripple, mutilate, maim, butcher, dismember, vivisect, mine for profit, and even suck blood from the sex organs of living baby boys?

At least Jeffrey Dahmer did not lie about what he was doing. Unlike the serial circumciser, Dahmer did not sink to the absurdity of calling his crimes "medical procedures." He never tried to create "studies" to justify the killing and eating of young men. The medicalization of psycho-sexual sadism and barbaric blood rituals is a deception perfected by people like Auschwitz Death Camp doctor Joseph "Angel of Death" Mengele and the American hospital ghoul: the serial circumciser.

• Current national rates: Australia 15%(1), Canada 20%(2), the United States 60%(3).
• In the U.S., over 1.25 million infants annually - more than 3,300 babies each day - one child every 26 seconds.
• The surgery wastes more than $250 million health care dollars annually(4) as well as untold personnel hours.
• Globally, 20% of male children will be subjected to some form of non-medically indicated genital mutilation.(5)

• (U.S.) physicians thought it logical to perform genital surgery on both sexes to stop masturbation. This rationale was initiated in the English-speaking countries during the 19th Century.(6)
• The current medical rationale for circumcision developed after the operation was in wide practice.(7) To make sons resemble their circumcised fathers, to conform socially with peers, to improve hygiene, to prevent phimosis, and as prophylaxis for infant urinary tract infections, sexually transmitted diseases, AIDS, and cancer of the penis/cervix.(8)

• In North America many circumcised men are now becoming aware of the mutilation and the harm this has done to them, and some are seeking methods of replacing the lost prepuce.(47)

Students for Genital Integrity

Students for Genital Integrity was formed to unite people working to end infant male circumcision (male genital mutilation, MGM), with those working to end female circumcision (female genital mutilation, FGM), and those fighting to end "sex reassignment" surgery on intersex children (intersex genital mutilation, IGM). Until now, these three similar groups have worked separate from each other, and often, didn't want to be associated with each other. This is unfortunate because each group is dealing with three sides of the same issue, namely: the forced cutting of a child's genitals to conform to a particular society's concept of aesthetics and normality.

In September of 2002, San Francisco State University became the first college campus to launch a student organization specifically focused on ending all forms of genital mutilations. Since its inception, other students around the United States have launched additional SGI groups that unite the three previously seperate advocate groups, anti-FGM, anti-MGM, and anti-IGM, into one very progressive human rights organization. In the future SGI hopes to have representatives worldwide.

Stop Infant Circumcision Society

We are planning to lobby the Congress and petition the Supreme Court to put an
end to the outdated, unnecessary and inhumane medical procedure called
circumcision.

The routine surgical procedure of sexually mutilating our infant males must stop. It
is a total violation of humanity and inflicts upon the male an array of future sexual
problems.

Circumcision is NOT a lifesaving technique. It is an elective surgical procedure that
only the educated adult male should be able to make.
